De nieuwe firmware voor de PSP is uit!
2.7 wel te verstaan
ik heb hem zelf ook en dit is allemaal nieuw:

* Fixed some issues when using a memory stick with more than 2GB free space.
*This problem has not happened among the memory sticks sold in Japan until April 24.

Dat is de vetste functie vind ik zelf, want ik heb Loco Roco gedownload en die is echt vet

Ok,... waarom doe je net op 2.7 de bom is?
Ik heb me psp helemaal binnenstebuitengehaald 1.5 eropgezet en homebrew.
Nu zou ik toch willen vragen waarom je dit post,waarom is 2.7 beter dan de vorige versies met name de 1.5?
Voordelen en Nadelen tussem de versies?

| Dat hij nu flash kan draaien is wel een voordeel natuurlijk. Nadeel is wel altijd dat je nooit kan downgraden als je de nieuwe firmware installeert. |

Ik hou het bij 1.5, waarom? Iso's laden, betere homebrew ondersteuning.
Een 1.5 PSP is ook meer waard dan een 2.01+. |

| Ik ben niet van plan om 2.7 te downloaden. IK heb nu 2.5 (dat komt doordat ik een nieuwe PSP heb gekregen van Sony) en daar houd ik het bij. Als 3.0 radicaal anders is dan zal ik er over denken. |

| ik vind het idd vet dat ie nu Flash kan afspelen, en die demo functie vind ik ook heel vet, maar ik ben niet zo'n homebrew man, dus ik vind hem gewoon vet |

Peek hard and you'll find a few modules which could be there for supporting new peripherals, like a Camera, or a GPS.

So we know Sony might be coming out with those peripherals pretty soon. Or atleast the fact that 2.7 will support the hardware, even if Sony comes out with a new one in the future.
But wait, there's more to get excited about. See the last prx ?
* usbgps_serial.prx
This means that the PSP might support serial-port based GPS adapters in the future. So it means that Sony is planning on using the serial port which they've put minimal use to, until now. And here's where the great part comes in. It is believed that Sony flashes all its PSPs using the serial port. And it's common knowledge that the serial port is one of the most useful ways of hacking around on any platform.
Although it's highly speculative, the usage of the serial port might lead the hackers to finding useful things about it. Think about downgrading any PSP, irrespective of its firmware. You don't need the PSP to be on when using the serial port, so the concept of Sony patching the hole with a new firmware simply does not come in.
Remember guys, this is still wild speculation. But, it isn't misplaced. The fact that the serial port is very useful for hackers can be confirmed by just about anyone. More serial port devices can only mean more places where Sony can go wrong. |

| Niet echt slim lijkt me zo (2.7), maar als je homebrew gebruikt ben je toch ook niet meer verzekerd of wel? |

Met het downgraden van je PSP vervalt je garantie,door gebruik van homebrew niet.
Homebrew is 100% legaal tenzij je je hombrew apllicaties verkoopt zoals www.psix.com dat zijn echte afzetters. |
