Wargaming maakt bekend dat zij hun soundtracks voor World of Tanks en World of Warplanes beschikbaar hebben gemaakt voor het publiek. De albums zijn gratis te downloaden op de officiële websites en Google Music. Op de iTunes Store kun je ze voor een klein bedrag per track verkrijgen.
“Music plays an important role in the overall experience of a video game, so a lot of effort was put into both soundtracks to ensure the highest quality of sound possible,” said World of Tanks Audio Director Sergey Phomin. “Having the opportunity to add the finishing touches of our soundtrack at the studio where music legends like the Beatles and Pink Floyd recorded their albums, was truly a one-of-a-kind experience.”
De World of Tanks soundtrack is gemasterd in de legendarische Abbey Roas Studios in London, het bevat 37 originele tracks en zal ook nieuwe tracks bevatten die in Update 9.0 worden toegevoegd. Voor World of Warplanes zijn er momenteel acht beschikbaar en zal in de toekomst uitgebreid worden.
